FOTD : Retro/Classic/Vintage Look 2

To get this 1970′s look. The key is to go thick with the eyeliner, thick lashes, white liner in your water line, a natural or nude lip, and contour for your blush. This look is still seen and is still worn today in various ways.

Face
This should be a natural look. Apply concealer on parts you want to cover up and, if you must, use sheer foundation all over your face, but apply sparingly. You can add blush, but it's not essential to have bright blush to this look. Make sure to use a pale color, such as baby pink or light peach. I prefer to have a light coral peachy color because it suit my skin tone well.

Lips
Apply a pale pink, peach, or clear gloss. You can define your lips more if you wish by using a lip pencil beforehand.

Eyes
Put a neutral color of eye shadow on your eyelid. Here I used a slightly brighter than my skin color. Then take a dark color, such as brown, black, or gray, and sweep it across the part of your eyelid where your eye meets the bone. Take black eyeliner; a pencil or liquid will do. Start either on the inner or outer corner of the eye. Place a white or light brown on lower lash line. Create a thick line (but not too thick) and make the corners go slightly up and away from your eye. You can then attach false eyelashes or just apply a few coats of mascara thickly on the top and bottom lashes.

A Review : Crabtree & Evelyn Body Lotion in Lily

Sometime when I’m in rush to office (or woke up late), I needed a fragrance body lotion because it is like 2 in 1 function – body lotion and the same time give me a hint of perfume. So this is what I’m using currently – Crabtree & Evelyn Body Lotion in Lily.
This is my hands down on the product.

Loves:
- Moisture lasts all day on me.
- Absorb to skin well and doesn’t leave my skin greasy at all.
- I love the fragrance, it's a soft version of Pleasure Intense by Estee Lauder, and scent that lingers on the skin.

- Pumped bottle, which I love
- Staying power is great, the scent still remain after few times I wash my hand

Loathes:
- The smell came out overly sweet at first few minutes after apply. I almost wash off the lotion
- The price is too much for body lotion

Overall I'm happy with the products although I probably wouldn't have repurchased, obviously because of its price. It's great that the products are made with natural ingredients, but unfortunately it's not something I really pay much attention to. Some other brands offer a good body lotion at better price like Mark & Spencer, The Body Shop, etc. Read more on their collection here : Lily Collections

Product: Crabtree & Evelyn Body Lotion in Lily
Made: USA
Price: High side. RM88 for 245ml @ 8.3 fl oz

FOTD : Enchanted Forest

So this is the look that I've made from green eye shadow. I keep the lower lash line clean with no eye shadow and liner, not even mascara. A pair of lashes to give a little drama and a soft pink for the lips.
Excuse me for the lash glue. It didn't dry completely when I snap this photo.

Enchanted Forest from Estee Lauder. You can switch up for bold lips and its absolutely complement with green eye shadow.
