Jakarta - Bandung : Pt 5 Pasar Baru Bandung (Pic Heavy)

I was so tired the night before and the night was so cold, until my VCO get hard. Sleep like a baby..

I woke up late and I had to hurry breakfast, as we have to get off from hotel at 0830. I had simple fried rice, a deep fried chicken done up with a bit of spice and mix vege. That’s all left for me.
FOTD - Soft smokey eye with only 2 colours. Oh pardon my hair.
Pasar Baru Bandung at 0900 hrs
Fabric.
So we left hotel in pretty good time, and reached Pasar Baru Bandung around 0845, just right after the shop start to operate.
Lace
More lace
Cottons
Satins
First we headed to textile shop. So many choices of textile like lace, cotton, satin and likes. Bargaining is must. I bought lace at IDR 170,000/meter, while cottons are IDR 20,000/meter. Bought some fabric which they said “wiscose” or something sound like that at slightly higher priced than cotton. Batik silk to match with the brown lace, I can’t remember how much as I bought too much, it’s all good quality especially lace, and so so cheap, realy cheap. Imagine the same quality of cotton at Jakel at RM 25-30/meter and I got IDR 20,000/meter (RM 7/meter). Are you crazy..? It’s such a sin not to buy them.

Telekung
Telekung is fairly cheap here. Beautiful telekung sold at IDR 220,000. Well the price is depends to the quality.
This uncle is really nice, friendly and helpful. He said the same telekung can be found at Chow Kit at 3-4 times higher, and it is indeed true after I had weekend lemmings a Chow Kit.

Sarong & Ready Made Kebaya

Jewellery
Fairly cheap, me almost buy it but I've been warned not to buy it since the workmanship is poor.

Junk Food

Lunch time, at food court.
Lots of local cuisine to be choose.

Nasi Padang

Nasi Ayam Penyet

Avocado Juice, they called it "Alpukat". Heard it was tasty but I don't have guts to enjoy it even a little.
I can see that most of Sundanese food are fried—fried fish, fried chicken, fried beef, fried tauhu (bean curd).
This is Batagor
Lamb Satay
Their rice not to my liking, but anyhow I had this, Batagor and Lamb Satay. See the dipping sauce, honestly I thought it was lightly spicy and sweet, just like keropok sauce that we had in Malaysia. But, it was totally hot and spicy! I just had a tiny bit but damn the spicy got me to tears!  I really can't that the heat. Huh..
